1 Year Guarantee We at Howes Models (The Sole Distributors) are pleased to offer a one year guarantee (subject to conditions) on your new Lake Reaper bait boat. The 1 year guarantee (from the date of purchase) is in addition to your statutory rights and does NOT cover damage caused by incorrect use, accidental damage or unauthorised repair carried out by anyone other than the Company, Fitting of fishfinders or any other equipment by anyone other than the Company WILL invalidate your guarantee. When applied to boats that are purchased by commercial fisheries for use as rental boats on said fishery, then the guarantee is subject to statutory rights and negotiation thereafter. 1. Note that as the handset (TX Transmitter) is guaranteed only by the manufacturer for a period of 12 months, and as the use of said set is outside our control, the handset shall be covered under 12-months guarantee only. This is from the date of purchase of the boat. 2. With proper use and care batteries can and do have a life expectancy in excess of 3 years. But as their use and care is outside our control the batteries are not included in the one-year guarantee. However, if within one month of purchase the batteries stop working, we will replace them (subject to post and packaging costs). 3. The fishfinders and associated equipment have a 12-month guarantee only. 4. All LEDs have a life expectancy in excess of 100,000 hours, however, due to the harsh and unpredictable circumstances under which your boat may operate, we cannot cover LEDs under the normal guarantee. Any faulty LEDs will be replaced as part of your guarantee. 5. Speed controllers are covered only for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. [Note, with a little care they will prove 100% reliable for many years]. Please note: 1. The boat is not suitable for use by persons under the age of 14 years. 2. Please ensure that boats are permitted on the chosen water before use and that the bait used is allowed. 3. Due to continued development, all aspects of boat design and equipment are subject to change by the Company without prior consultation. 4. Due to fluctuations in component prices, which are outside our control, all prices quoted may be subject to change without prior notice [always ring for details].

Binding Instructions Connecting Transmitter to Receiver Binding Instructions for AD-1202 Transmitter Connect the batteries to the Lake Reaper and have the transmitter next to the boat At the front of the boat inside the battery compartment, there is a black box with the fuse holder on top. You will need to take the lid of the black box to get inside where the speed controller and receiver is sat inside. The receiver is the smaller of the 2 parts inside the box. Step 1. Make sure both the boat and transmitter are turned off. Now using a match stick or small screw driver, press a hold down the set button on the receiver inside the boat and then switch the boat on while the button is still pressed down. Once the boat is on, you can release this button and the status light on the receiver will be flashing orange. The receiver is now in 'bind' mode Step 2. There is a similar set button on the bottom left of the face of the transmitter. Now do the same with this button, hold it down and turn the handset on, then relase the button. Once you have released the button, you will need to press it again but this time do not hold it down. (When pressing the button the second time, you will notice the green light above the button change to a yellow). Once you have pressed the button and the light has changed, press the button for a 3rd time but do not release for 5-7 seconds. Step 3. Binding should now be complete, you should now be able to control the boat using the handset. If binding was not successful, try these steps once more. Failing this please call us on 01865 848000 for more help. Binding Lake Reaper DE-104 Radio & Receiver Make sure the handset is turned off and then turn the receiver on by powering the boat. The receiver light should now be red. Hold down the power button & SET button on the handset at the same time. The red POWER light will turn on and then go to a lighter red within a second. Once the lighter red illuminates, release the power button but continue to hold down the set button for another 3-5 seconds. Now release the SET button and the red power light will begin to flash. Once flashing, press the SET button once. This will illuminate the blue RF button next to the red power light. Once blue, press the set button once more but hold it down for 3 seconds. The blue RF light will then start to flash. Once flashing you will have a short time to complete the next step. There will be a red light showing on the receiver. Next, press down the set button (next to the red light) (it is important that the blue RF light is still flashing) The red light will then change to violet. The binding process will now be complete. Please note, the receiver can be found in the black square box at the front of the boat (inside) There will be 2 parts inside of the black box, the larger of the 2 is the speed controller and the smaller part is the receiver names DEVICT DE-104.

The Lake Reaper Bait Boat The Lake Reaper boat is ideal for fishermen looking for a compact bait boat of a high quality, with all the features needed on a bait boat but at an affordable price! A lot of other boats only have one speed or a slow/fast speed setting so beware. New DE-108 Handset with Telemetry Feature: Our Lake Reaper is fitted with a new handset with telemetry feature. This gives you an accurate reading of your boats battery level from your handset. This eliminates the problem of the boat suddenly stopping in the water due to losing power. This is one of only a few bait boats fitted with this feature. Interference Free Radio with Long Range Fitted with a interference free radio which provides a long range of 400+ meters. No more worrying about interfering with other peoples bait boats! No More Snags! The boat now has an internal aerial so no longer requires a long external aerial found on earlier models. No more getting snagged under branches! The Hopper The boat has a easy to use hopper for dropping the bait which can also take your hook length. The simple drop down lid can hold around 1kg of bait. Lighting The Boat has bright LED lights at the front and back. These can be seen from a distance and makes the boat easier to navigate when it gets dark. These lights can now be turned on and off from the handset, a new feature added on our latest 2024 versions. The boat has a built in LED voltage reader on the side of the hull. This shows the battery voltage (great help!) so you know just how well charged the batteries are and when they need charging. Battery Life The boat includes a pair of 6 volt 5 amp batteries and a mains charger. These batteries will last up to 2 hours on a single charge.
